Povijest Radiokluba Zagreb

Na konstituirajućoj sjednici, održanoj 29. ožujka 1924. godine u Trgovačkom domu, osnovan je “Radioklub Zagreb” – skraćeno RKZ, prvi radioklub u ovom dijelu Europe. Prihvaćena su Pravila i izabran Odbor, od tada vrlo uglednih građana Grada Zagreba. Za predsjednika RKZ, jednoglasno je izabran prof. dr. Oton Kučera – fizičar, astronom i književnik, poznati promicatelj prirodoslovnih i tehničkih znanosti, pisac mnogih knjiga iz ovih područja. Istaknuti članovi bili su dr. Svetozar Varićak, Miroslav Plohl, prof. Ljubomir Šplajt, Josip Lončar, inž. Velimir Stiasny, dr. Ivo Stern, dr. Dragutin Liberman i mnogi drugi. Tajnik RKZ-a bio je dr. Dušan Maruzzi.
